The 100 hour training is a shorter, condensed version of Jared’s 200 hour training with focus on providing tools + techniques for the following:
Refine trainee’s own personal asana practice
Learn the basics of how to effectively cue + teach a JM vinyasa class
Understand anatomy + physiology as applies to yoga asana
Give safe + effective adjustments during yoga class
Incorporate yoga history + philosophy into practice + teaching
Develop a Sadhana practice (meditation, mantra, pranayama)
Study the asanas in depth with daily posture clinics, including how to use breath + bandhas to increase stability, strength + awareness
8-9am Meditation / Mantra / Pranayama practice
9.30-11.30am Asana practice
11.30-1pm Lunch break
1-3.30pm Yoga philosophy / Teaching / Asana sequencing lecture or Functional yoga anatomy
3.30-6pm Posture clinic
6.15pm-8pm Asana practice + Closing meditation
Additional assignments will be required for students seeking YA 100 hour certification.
