The original 90 minute series of 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises designed to get you fit, healthy, and flexible and work your entire body inside out and bones to skin. Always the same, but always very different. You will work hard, sweat a lot and feel great! We recommend this class for all students, especially first time students.
This is a shorter version of the original 26 and 2 series so you can still get your yoga in even on your busy days. The pace is faster and we do fewer sets of some of the postures. This class is 60 minutes and suitable for all levels.
In this flow sequence, we explore postures from the bikram series, ashtanga, forrest, dharma yoga and more. This is a great compliment to the bikram series and helps build upper body and core strength. This energizing vinyasa class will incorporate inversions, deep back bends and meditation.
Yin yoga is a slower paced class that targets the connective tissues, such as ligaments and fascia, bringing the body into balance and increasing it’s natural range of motion. The class is not heated and most poses are done seated or lying down and held for 3-5 minutes. You will leave feeling refueled and restored.
A dynamic sequence of 40+ postures including sun salutations, hip opening postures, arm balancing, and back bends. This class draws from the bikram series and the advanced 84 asanas designed to build strength, flexibility and balance. Students should have a solid foundation in the bikram series.
Introduce your kids to the joy of yoga. This is a fun 45 minute non-heated class designed to introduce your kids to a variety of yoga postures, breathing exercises and meditation. After suffering years of chronic neck and back pain I had no idea how good my body could feel or that I could be out of pain. I believe that yoga is one of the best forms of physical, mental and emotional therapy. I'm inspired to share the healing benefits of this practice with our students. Anyone can do yoga and fuel their body and life through a regular practice.
I believe this yoga is best form of healthcare! I enjoy celebrating with students when they share that they had a personal breakthrough in class. I love being a part of this very special yoga community which feels like family to me!
After years of competitive running I turned to yoga to help repair my injured body. Almost immediately I was able to feel the benefits of the practice, both physically and emotionally. I am consistently amazed at how yoga uses the body to heal the body, and as a teacher I am so excited to be able to share that with others.
Being a drug addict and alcoholic in recovery is when I took my first yoga class - I couldn’t believe how incredible I felt. I was literally re-introduced to my body and my soul. The revelation that the solution to addiction was held deep inside my body all along was an absolute miracle. I feel compelled to teach how yoga can heal addictions, and all that ails you.
I first came to yoga as a dancer in search of a new cross-training regimen, hoping to increase my flexibility and reintroduce balance to my body. I found that and so much more! Yoga has helped me heal chronic injuries, alleviate anxiety and depression, and overall improve the quality of my life and my relationship with myself. I feel so grateful to be able to share my love for this practice with the incredible yoga community at Fuel!
I was first introduced to the idea of yoga as a young kid by my stepmom and several of her hippie friends, who used to practice weekly in the loft above our barn. It's been a part of my life ever since, in varying degrees and styles.
I'm constantly finding new reasons to be in love with the practice: It challenges my body, it calms and refreshes my mind and spirit, and it has literally saved my life.
I teach because it makes me a better student, because it demands that I keep learning and growing, and because I want to share this thing that has so enriched my life with as many people as possible. It's truly a blessing to be able to call this my job.

Although the studio is beautiful, the best part of Bikram Yoga Athens is the teachers. They are very knowledgeable not only of the yoga, but of the body as well. They have been so helpful as I work through my issues and regain balance in my body.
"This is the best yoga studio in Athens. It is very clean, the staff is professional, there are lots of options for class times, class starts and ends on time and everyone works really hard to make this challenging style of yoga accessible to anyone who wants to take it on."
